This is the documentation of the SquirrelJME supply chain. Effectively, this is the list of projects, services, and otherwise that are hard and/or soft dependencies that the project relies upon for existing. This only includes direct proper noun dependencies or direct pseudo dependencies.
This does not include obvious things such as an internet connection, package repositories, developers, or operating systems.
SquirrelJME has the goal to be as self-hosted and self-reliable as possible, it is a preservation platform.
- C89 Compiler
- CMake
- Fossil
- This is for source control and history, the project does not rely upon it to exist and can work off extracted source archives. If you have the source code you do not need Fossil, just that you will lose out on getting the commit hash for the version number.
- Gradle
- Install4J
- This is not strictly needed, however it provides convenient installers which are simple and easy to use.
- Jasmin
- Java 8 Compiler
- ProGuard
- This is not strictly needed, it is intended to be used to shrink the resultant Jars as much as possible.
